ASTANA TEAM: P.TIRALONGO WINS THE 7TH STAGE OF THE GIRO

The Italian Paolo TIRALONGO (ASTANA TEAM) has won the seventh stage of the GIRO d’Italia on CORIMA wheels, emerging on top after a head-to-head sprint with Michele Scarponi (Lampre). Stage between Recanati and Rocca di Cambio, 202 km.

Pro Team Astana dominated the LIEGE BASTOGNE LIEGE, with Maxim IGLINSKYI emerging the outright WINNER and Enrico GASPAROTTO crossing the line in third place. The result provides another memorable day for
the Kazakhstan-based Team, just a week after E. Gasparotto won the AMSTEL GOLD RACE.

SAUR SOJASUN made 2 great races last Saturday. Racing at the Tour du FINISTERE in France and the CASTILLE & LEON Tour in Spain.
On the Brittany roads, Julien SIMON won the French PMU Cup stage and thanks to the good results of Jérémie GALLAND and Anthony DELAPLACE, the Team has taken the first place for the Team ranking.

The former Italian National Champion, Enrico GASPAROTTO (PRO TEAM ASTANA) won the 47th Edition of the AMSTEL GOLD RACE (UCI World Tour calendar race) last Sunday on CORIMA MCC wheels.
