Answers to questions on carbon wheels and accessories CORIMA

Are the AERO carbon wheels adapted for mountainous roads?

Most of the cyclists think that a profiled rim is not adapted to mountainous roads. It’s due to the fact that aluminum rims are heavy and get bad performances in inertia. On the contrary, the AERO and AERO+ carbon wheels are excellent wheels with their light and responsive carbon rims when you ride on mountainous roads.

The studies made on the rim and the spokes give an important benefit in terms of aerodynamics (Up to 20% benefit of the average power of a cyclist consumed by the wheels compared to traditional good quality aluminum rims). This criterion is also important because after climbing there is also the descent and flat country.

With the AERO and AERO+ wheels, CORIMA offers you light, responsive, aerodynamics, with low inertia in rotation wheels.
